Description

This 52’ riveted steel express reefer with plug door is green with white lettering and red REA herald. It is advisable to pay close attention when stenciling words on the side of cars, as the obvious misspelling on this prototypically accurate reefer will attest. REA was a national operation formed by the U.S. Government in 1917, and provided small package shipping across the U.S. rail network.
