The Medford, Talent & Lakecreek Railroad, while primarily a freight railroad, did operate a number of dinner excursion trains to various landmraks and destinations, including Crater Lake, the ORegon coast, and the northern California Lava Beds. During the holidays, the MT&L had a popular tradition of hosting dinner trains, adorned with festive Christmas decorations.
