This 40’ standard box car with plug door and no roofwalk is car #28 of a 44-car series representing each of the presidents of the United States. It bears the portrait of our 41st president, George H. W. Bush. The car comes with a commemorative pin replicated from this era. Bush presidency; military operations were conducted in Panama and the Persian Gulf; the Berlin Wall fell in 1989; and the USSR dissolved two years later. During WWII, Bush was the youngest aviator in U.S. naval history. He received combat medals while serving on the USS San Jacinto.
