This 40’ steel ice reefer is painted box car red with reefer yellow sides It bears a black herald, black side and white end lettering, and carries the black, red and white Agar logo. It was built in April1948 and leased to Agar Packing Company of Chicago, IL, as part of the series numbered 300-399. Running on Bettendorf trucks, it has a 4’-wide hinged door, a 76,000 lbs. capacity and its bunkers can handle crushed, coarse or chunk ice.
