This 50’ steel side, 14 panel, fixed end gondola was built in January of 1967. It was rebuilt in February 1976 at Raceland. It is painted black with yellow lettering and “Chessie Cat” herald. It was rated at 100 tons with capacities of 2155 cu ft. During rebuilding they had double troughs installed, 10 adjustable cross bars and 3 section removable cover added to protect their loads.
