Reading Buffer Car - Rd# 9214This 50’ flat car with Bettendorf trucks was built for the Reading Railroad in 1937 where it was used to transport bulky and heavy industrial loads, such as automobile frames and machine components.
Car can be used as a buffer to help transport an overhanging 16” main battleship gun barrel.
