This 40’ hy-cube box car with single door is red with white lettering and white diagonal stripe on the door and runs on Roller Bearing Trucks. Built by Pullman Standard in Bessemer, Alabama, as part of series 19825-19839, these 4900 cubic foot boxcars were known as “baby hi-cubes” because of their short length and taller height. Purpose built to handle loading outsized appliances, they found their way on many midwest and western road.
