After bringing home the tree, an exhausted Mr. Mouse snoozes, dreaming of trains (and his favorite food). As the fire crackles, Mrs. Mouse and Junior finish decorating the tree and setting up their Micro-Trains Line train set around the base.

The model is based on Milwaukee Road Caboose #02012, It was built in 1946 at the Milwaukee Road shops and put in many years of service throughout the system. Now privately owned, the caboose was completely refurbished to its original look and resides in Central Wisconsin. It can be seen a few times each year, often being pulled by restored SOO #1003 (2-8-2) when it is out and running. For several years now, the caboose has been decorated with Christmas wreaths and a large “Santa” banner is hung on the sides. Santa then visits several communities along the tracks in late Nov and early Dec. This year we are happy to add “Santa” banners to our 1946 built caboose with a low bay window and straight frame trucks.  Your N Scale Santa will be able to roam your layout in style this winter with a prototype Christmas Caboose.
