Blair-024 Handcar Set-off Kit

Handcar set-offs were used by track workers, section gangs, signal men and road masters as a place to clear the line for passing trains. They were also used as a convenient location to turn handcars and motorcars. Some railroads specified set-offs to be placed every miel or so and often at signal and siding locations.

Kit includes enough parts to build three handcar set-offs on a fill or on level ground.
